STORY LINES
• The Mules return home for the first of three straight home games. UCM hosts Lindenwood on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
• The Mules are coming off an 89-61 win at Lincoln on Wednesday night. The win was Central Missouri's 1,600th in program history. The Mules became just the third NCAA Division II program to record 1,600 wins.
• The Lions are coming off a 71-69 last second loss to Southwest Baptist at home on Wednesday night and have now lost three straight games.
• The Mules currently sit in third place in the MIAA standings, two games behind first place Northwest Missouri and a half game back of second place Missouri Southern.
• Saturday is Salute to Veterans and Military Appreciation Day at the Multi. All veterans, retired military and their family members will receive free general admission tickets to the games. All active military members, guard, reservists and their dependents already receive free admission to regular season home UCM athletic events thanks to the Command Pass.
• Saturday is also Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers. Members of both coaching staffs will be wearing sneakers withtheir suits to raise awareness about cancer and the importance that nutrition and physical activity play in reducing one's risk of the disease.

• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is third all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,600 wins.

Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.
SERIES HISTORY VS LINDENWOOD
• This will be the fifth all-time meeting between Central Missouri and Lindenwood and the third with both schools members of the MIAA. The Mules lead the series 3-1.
• The teams split last season's series with each team winning on their own home floor.
• UCM leads the series 3-0 in games played in Warrensburg, including a 1-0 mark under Kim Anderson.
LAST MEETING WITH LINDENWOOD
• The Mules used hot shooting and suffocating defense to beat Lindenwood 87-72 on February 13, 2013 in Warrensburg.
• The Mules held Lindenwood without a field goal over the final 10:51 of the game and held them to 34 percent shooting for the game.
• A 15-5 run early in the game gave the Mules a 22-10 lead with under 10 minutes to play and they would never trail again.
• The Lions could get no closer than nine points with around 5:00 to play in the game.

Lance Beckwith had 15 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Matt Webb added 14 points, six rebounds and four assists.
• The Mules shot 45 percent for the game, including 9 of 18 from beyond the arc.
• Lindenwood was led in scoring by Alex Bazzell's 21 points. Brett Thompson added 10.
• The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Mules and kept them in a first place tie in the league standings.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
• Lindenwood comes into the game on a three-game losing streak. The Lions are 8-11 overall and 3-6 in MIAA play following a last second 71-69 loss to Southwest Baptist on Wednesday night.
• LWU is averaging 78.4 points per game offensively and shooting 47 percent from the field. The Lions are shooting 40 percent from three-point range and 73 percent at the free throw line. They have gotten to the foul line 88 more times than their opponents this season (516-428).
• Defensively, the Lions give up 77.5 points per contest and 46 percent shooting. Opponents are shooting just 37 percent from beyond the arc.
• Lindenwood holds a slim advantage in rebounding, 34.4-34.1, but they have given up nearly 11 offensive rebounds per game.
• Senior Tyler Ressel leads the team in scoring at 15.9 points per outing and is followed closely by Darris Smith's 15.7 points per game. Smith's scoring average has increased to 16.6 points per outing during league play.
• Garrett Reeg averages 8.6 points per contests and leads the team in rebounding with 6.2 boards per game.
• The Lions force 11.2 turnovers per outing, but commit 11.4 turnovers of their own.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules shot a season-high 60.4 percent from the field and routed Lincoln 89-61 on Wednesday night at Jason Gym. The win improves UCM's record to 15-4 overall and 7-3 in MIAA play.
   Both teams came out firing as they traded buckets through the first eight plus minutes of the first half. A 19-4 run midway through the half broke an 11-all tie and gave Central Missouri a 30-15 lead with 7:09 left in the half. The Mules extended the led to 19 at 44-25 with just under a minute left in the half before leading 44-28 at intermission.
   The Mules stormed out of the gates in the second half as they opened up a 24-point advantage with 14:35 left in the game. A 17-6 run midway through the second half gave UCM a 76-43 lead with 8:37 to play as the Mules cruised to the 28-point victory.

Charles Hammork led four Mules in double figures with 15 points.
Jordan Epps had 14 points, while
Dillon Deck had 13 and
TJ White finished with 10.
   The Mules were 29 of 48 from the field for 60.4 percent. UCM was 4 of 13 from three-point range for 31 percent and made 27 of 40 at the foul line for 68 percent.
   Lincoln shot 38 percent from the floor, 18 of 48 and made 10 of 27 from beyond the arc for 37 percent. The Blue Tigers were 15 of 21 at the charity stripe for 71 percent. Joshua Buie led LU with 14 points.
   The win was the 1,600th all-time win for Central Missouri Mules basketball. The Mules are one of just three NCAA Division II schools to record 1,600 wins.

• Central Missouri is 150-66 in MIAA play during the Kim Anderson era and 7-3 this season after the 89-61 win at Lincoln on Wednesday night.
