The Jennies (48-14) wasted no time in grabbing the lead.
Ali Jo Rogers doubled to right center on the first pitch of the game to get UCM started. She stole third and scored on

Katie Giacone from second and Central Missouri led 5-0.
Augustana (53-10) threatened in the fifth loading the bases with only one out, but Shockley got a foul out and a line out to center to end the inning and keep the Vikings off the board.
Makayla Schoonover made a running over the shoulder catch on the ball to center to end the threat.
The Jennies added to their lead in sixth, scoring a single run to extend the lead to 6-0. Giacone led off with a double, went to third on a fielding error by the shortstop and scored on Dawson's sacrifice fly to center.
The Vikings threatened again in the bottom of the seventh, putting runners at second and third with one out thanks to a UCM throwing error and a double, but Shockley shut the door again. She forced a pop-up to herself in the circle and got a groundout to end the game.
The win for Shockley was her sixth straight and her 22nd in her last 23 decisions. She is now 26-6 on the season and her 26 wins is a new UCM single-season record.
Dawson, Giacone and Leonhart finished with two hits apiece and Leonhart also drove in a pair of runs. Mabe finished the day 1-for-3, giving her a new UCM single-season record 78 hits on the year.
