LILBURN, Ga. (Nov. 21, 2017) - Central Missouri Jennies Basketball moved up one spot in the Women's Basketball Coaches Poll to No. 12. The Jennies are 4-1 (3-1 when the poll was tabulated) this season.
This is the second women's basketball poll of the season, the first of the regular season. The Jennies were ranked 13th in the preseason.
Central Missouri started the year 3-1 with wins over Mary, Northern State and William Jewell and a loss to Arkansas-Fort Smith.Â
The Jens are one of four MIAA teams in the ranking and the highest in the league. Pittsburg State, Emporia State and Central Oklahoma are ranked 21-23.Â
The top-five underwent a bunch of changes, but the one that remained the same was Ashland in the top spot. Alaska-Anchorage, Bentley, California (PA), and West Texas A&M round out the top five.
UCM is off for the holiday weekend. They get back after it next Tuesday, Nov. 28 against Harris Stowe for a 7 pm tipoff at the Multi.
