As a redshirt junior (2013-14): Played in 27 games, making 20 starts ... averaged 5.4 points, 1.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game ... scored season-high 17 points in MIAA Tournament against Northeastern State on season-high six made field goals and five made three-pointers ... scored in double figures six times ... scored nine points, with season-high five rebounds in national championship game ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a junior (2012-13): Redshirted and did not appear in any games ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

Before UCM: He was a second team all-region pick as a sophomore for head coach Doug Wagemester at Kirkwood Community College, averaging 6.7 points per game ... he shot 77 percent from the foul line, 41 percent from beyond the arc and a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio while helping KCC to a 27-5 record ... as a freshman he averaged six points per contest while shooting 36 percent from three-point range ... had a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio while helping his team to a 31-6 record and a third place finish at the national tournament.

In high school: Was a three-year varsity letterwinner for head coach Tom Boone at Mankato West High School ... was a team captain and two-time first team all-conference selection ... he was named all-city and was an honorable mention all-state pick, helping Mankato West to two conference championships, a section title and a state runner-up finish ... compiled a 71-16 overall record during his high school career.

Personal: Majoring in Safety Management... son of Bill and Jane Brunz ... he is the brother of former Mules’ guard Bryce Brunz.
