Before UCM: He averaged nine points per game for head coach Jay Spoonhour at Moberly Area Community College as a sophomore, helping the team to the regular season regional championship ... he shot 77 percent from the free throw line and 41 percent from three-point range ... as a freshman, he shot 35 percent from beyond the arc while averaging 7.1 points per contest ... made 160 three-pointers while at Moberly CC.

In high school: Was a three-time all-state honoree for coaches Bob Gilliam and Wade Billington at Paris High School where he averaged 23.9 points per game for his career ... averaged 32 points per game as a senior and was a four-time all-conference and all-district selection and was twice named conference Player of the Year ... scored 2,500 points in his career and helped his team to four conference titles and one district crown ... was selected to play in the MBCA All-Star Game ... was also a three-time all-conference and two-time all-state pick in football and was named to the all-conference baseball team three times and the all-state squad once.
