In 2012 (indoor): Earned All-MIAA honors with a 3rd place finish in the weight throw at the MIAA Championships ... Also scored a 4th place result in the shot put at the Championships ... Won the shot put at the UCM Invite ... (outdoor): Recieved his first All-American award after placing 7th in the discus at the NCAA Championships ... Also competed in the shot put at the NCAA Championships, finishing 13th ... Won the MIAA Championship in the shot put, and placed 2nd in the discus ... Scored for the Mules with a 5th place result at the MIAA Championships in the hammer throw ... Won the shot put at three meets during the regular season, including the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic, UCM Mule Relays, and the Missouri Southern Invitational.

In 2011: Redshirted.

At Neosho: Seven-time Junior College All-American under throwing coach Darin Schmitz.

In High School: A Missouri state champion in discus... Earned all-state four times and was an eight-time All-Conference performer... The four-time track letter winner also earned a pair of football letters while making second-team all-conference as a guard.
